We are a fast-growing cloud hosting and SaaS company serving Indian SMEs with secure, high-availability hosting solutions for business-critical applications like Tally, ERP, and custom tools. With a team of 60+ and a strong sales and development engine in place, we are now looking for a senior technology leader to drive our infrastructure and support functions.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take complete ownership of our technical operations across infrastructure, 24x7 support, and software development. The ideal candidate will be technically sound, process-oriented, and capable of building and managing strong teams. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with department heads to align technical strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

- Lead all cloud infrastructure operations including provisioning, hypervisors (e.g., VMware/Proxmox), backups, monitoring, security, and availability.
- Drive infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Ensure high uptime, performance optimization, and system scalability.

Support Operations

- Oversee 24x7 customer support operations with strong SLAs and escalation handling.
- Implement SOPs, checklists, and quality monitoring to improve first-response and resolution rates.
- Drive metrics and dashboards to ensure performance and accountability across the support team.

Security & Compliance

- Manage firewall systems, endpoint protection, log monitoring, and backup strategies.
- Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with data protection and security standards.

Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor team leads across infrastructure, support, and development.
- Set performance goals, reporting structures, and accountability frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR to hire and grow high-performing technical teams.

Strategic Contribution

- Work with the CEO and leadership to define the technical roadmap.
- Provide input on product direction, system architecture, and technical feasibility.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, support, or cloud operations, preferably in a SaaS or managed services company.
- Strong hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, openstack, cloudstack), Linux/Windows servers, firewalls (e.g., FortiGate), and automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage support teams and deliver quality at scale.
- Experience in monitoring tools, backup management, and security practices.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in leading development teams or managing product delivery.
- Exposure to application hosting, ERP cloud deployment, or similar business applications.
- Previous experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Infrastructure.
