Overview:
We're looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Retail Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence, directly impacting our sales and retail processes. You will use your strong analytical skills and ability to manage key relationships to coordinate with both ground-level teams and senior leadership. You'll ensure the effective planning, tracking, and execution of both primary (stakeholder) and secondary (partner) sales, providing crucial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Operations Management
- Conduct daily meetings with sales teams to review primary and secondary sales performance.
- Manage day-to-day sales operations, including tracking sales,initiatives, and monitoring attendance and tool usage (e.g., M-Assist, etc.)
- Create and manage the Monthly Sales Planner, defining and aligning partner-specific sales targets with management and ground staff.
- Monitor performance against planned targets at the stakeholder and partner level.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with sales, finance, SCM and other teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Address and resolve queries from sales teams related to channel management, and internal platforms management.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and understand their needs to bridge operational gaps.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain and analyze databases to track sales and operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports on brand-specific, territory-specific, and partner-specific performance.
- Identify weak areas, analyze gaps, and recommend effective corrective action plans.
- Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making for management.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure hygiene, compliance, and efficiency in all retail operations.
- Support process improvements to enhance productivity and performance visibility.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of sales operations and retail business dynamics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify performance gaps and suggest improvements.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 36 years of experience in retail sales operations or analytics, preferably within the FMCG, consumer goods, or beauty industries.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Exposure to sales CRMs, planning tools, or analytics platforms is preferred.
