Company Description Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company which provides a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries The Group believes it is the world leader in food environment pharmaceutical and cosmetics products testing and in agroscience CRO services It is also one of the global independent market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics discovery pharmacology forensics CDMO advanced material sciences and for supporting clinical studies In addition Eurofins is one of the leading global emerging players in specialty clinical diagnostic testing In 2018 Eurofins generated 4 2 billion Euro proforma turnover in 800 laboratories across 47 countries employing about 45 000 staff Tecna as a part of Eurofins Technologies multi-national network has the goal of developing and validating reliable industrial solutions for food safety assessment It has been producing several immunoassays based on different technologies since 25 years and keeps growing its catalogue portfolio with novel assays and applications to cover the food industry necessities of analysing chemical contaminants in ingredients and finished products Applications need to be fast easy reliable and possibly safe for the personnel involved in routine implementation of analysis In other words the sample preparation and contaminants extraction from food matrices must be arranged through robust simple and quick procedures being ideally able to extract multiple contaminants in one single preparation and being solvent - free or at least non-toxic Position Title Network Engineer REPORTING TO Network Team Lead Food Feed Agro Testing Europe GEOGRAPHICAL REPORTING LOCATION India WORKING LOCATION Chennai India NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES UNDER RESPONSIBILITY 0 OVERALL OBJECTIVES As a member of the IT Infrastructure Support Team at Eurofins Food Feed Agro Testing Europe you will join a growing international crew to work on the maintenance of recently deployed segregated IT User Zones and Application Availability Groups Your role will involve supporting daily operational tasks including designing and implementing new infrastructure or migrating existing network components in line with current standards You will collaborate with various IT Support and Delivery Teams daily which will require networking and network security skills An open mind and the ability to cooperate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds are essential SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS Support and maintain current IT User Zones and IT Application Availability Groups network infrastructure Design plan and implement network IT Infrastructure for transformation integration segregation throughout Food Feed Agro testing businesses across Europe These projects will be aimed to perform installations configuration and migrations of enterprise-level network IT infrastructure systems from legacy to the new solutions Propose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security cost and bandwidth Work close with Server Cloud Application team members do deliver the IT Infrastructure as wider project Act based on the end-to-end view of the infrastructure Document the solutions delivered REQUIRED SKILLS An ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in most of the following areas Next Generation Firewalls FortiGate NSE4 level Hands-on experience on Checkpoint Firewall Experience in Azure Networking e g VNET VNET Peering Azure Load Balance RTT NSG Hands-on experience in maintaining network components Firewalls Switches Wifi AP VPN SD-WAN including firmware upgrades and downgrades Proficiency in various protocols TCP IP SNMP 802 1Q STP SSLVPN Familiarity with FortiManager FortiAnalyzer FortiSwitch and FortiAP Ability to read comprehend and create technical documentation for delivered solutions A collaborative team player who can effectively work with cross-functional teams Excellent command of written and spoken English Strong presentation skills to communicate technical projects effectively in meetings Cisco switches administration Experience with protocols such as DNS DHCP NTP and HTTP Hands on experience in automation related to network tasks Any language Any of below skills would provide a significant advantage Knowledge of dynamic routing such as BGP OSPF etc Fortinet certifications training NSE4 NSE5 NSE7 Quality of Service QoS implementation Experience in C or phyton Cisco Certification CCNA CCNP Experience in network monitoring site24x7 Experience in ticketing tool -BMC Helix
