Job Title: Backend / Infrastructure Engineer Location: [Specify Location or Remote] Experience: 3–10 years Preferred Education: B.Tech / M.Tech from IIT or other Tier-1 institutes About the Role: We are looking for highly skilled Backend / Infrastructure Engineers with a strong foundation in scalable system design, distributed architecture, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance backend systems and infrastructure that power large-scale applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Go, or Python. - Architect and scale distributed systems for reliability and performance. - Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP. - Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation. - Implement and maintain streaming and messaging systems using Kafka. - Design robust data models and manage databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL alternatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-grade software. - Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms. - 3–10 years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience. - Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Node.js, Go, Python). - Hands-on experience with AWS / GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and Postgres. - Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems. - Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills. Good to Have: - Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.). - Familiarity with security best practices in backend systems.
