At McCormick we bring our passion for flavor to work each day We encourage growth respect everyone s contributions and do what s right for our business our people our communities and our planet Join us on our quest to make every meal and moment better Founded in Baltimore MD in 1889 in a room and a cellar by 25-year-old Willoughby McCormick with three employees McCormick is a global leader in flavour With over 14 000 employees around the world and more than 6 Billion in annual sales the Company manufactures markets and distributes spices seasoning mixes condiments and other flavourful products to the entire food industry retail outlets food manufactures food service businesses and consumers While our global headquarters are in the Baltimore Maryland USA area McCormick operates and serves customers from nearly 60 locations in 25 countries and 170 markets in Asia-Pacific China Europe Middle East and Africa and the Americas including North South and Central America At McCormick we have over a 100-year legacy based on our Power of People principle This principle fosters an unusually dedicated workforce requiring a culture of respect recognition inclusion and collaboration based on the highest ethical values Primary Purpose As part of North American Supply Planning organization this Supply Chain Manager will lead a team of supply chain analysts - supporting Supply Planning Inventory and Demand Planning - in a high value location to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations through data analysis strategic planning and process improvement This role is critical in ensuring that our supply chain functions are optimized and aligned with the company s overall goals This leader will support talent selection onboarding and performance management across the analyst team location in the high value location This leader will work with the Americas based team to ensure business objectives are being met for the function and can additionally take on supply planning and IBP activities as needed to support the team priorities Key Role Responsibility Oversee develop coach and mentor a team of supply chain analysts fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment with a continuous improvement mindset Performance Monitoring Track and report on key performance indicators KPIs to measure the effectiveness and quality of supply chain operations and make data-driven decisions Data Analysis Utilize data analytics to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement within the supply chain Process Improvement Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes reduce costs and improve service levels Strategic Planning Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company s objectives and enhance operational efficiency Working with the Americas Team to ensure objectives and strategies are met Risk Management Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact Reporting Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management Education Expereience MBA in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field required with 8 years experience in Supply Chain Planning Logistics Sales Marketing Operations Finance Customer Service or a relate field required Demonstrated ability to analyze trouble-shoot problem solve and resolve complex issues required Demonstrated success leading and championing substantive business plan recommendations for senior divisional leadership required Ability to manage larger projects and or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using advanced influencing leadership skills required Strong communication organization and coaching skills required Proficiency with MS Excel Power Point Word and ERP ex SAP ECC APO required MS Access preferred Will have supervisory responsibility and or provide formal technical support guidance and mentoring to new Supply Planners or Analysts Self-management of work and work of team members as applicable Able to lead larger projects with cross-functional teams Developed Project Management and Leadership skill Executes work using data from multiple sources established methods Relies on subject matter expertise and judgment to plan prioritize and accomplish goals Identifies opportunities to improve service metric Ability to manage multiple Stakeholders handling different priorities and proper communication Ability to align conflicting priorities between functional groups McCormick Company is an equal opportunity affirmative action employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex gender identity sexual orientation race colour religion national origin disability protected veteran status age or any other characteristic protected by law
