About EvernorthEvernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group NYSE CI creates pharmacy care and benefits solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people About Evernorth Evernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group NYSE CI creates pharmacy care and benefits solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people Application Architecture Senior Advisor Position OverviewWe are looking fortalentedIT professionals with hands-on experience inarchitectural design and implementation in the Digital Engineering space They establish and deliver on technology strategy while at the same time engage in architectural and requirements discussions with technology partners As senior members of the team they can capture the overall vision of the project and see to it that technical solutions align with the visionRoles Responsibilities Candidates will need to have in depth experience designing medium-to-large-scale web development Provides technology leadership to the teams ensuring that solutions are robust and scalable Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals research requirements and develop innovative solutions Work with a development team using agile methodologies QualificationsRequired Experience Qualifications Bachelors degree in information technology or computer science or engineering or related course work 13 to 16 years of experience in application architecture and software development Proficient in Java TypeScript NodeJS and Python with both frontend and backend development experience Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services e g IAM Lambda EKS S3 DynamoDB RDS and other services Expertise in CI CD pipelines and terraform for infrastructure as code and automation Solid understanding of microservices and serverless architectures Experience with building scalable secure and high-performing systems Experience with Jenkins or Maven Git version control and or NoSQL databases Experience with event-driven architectures and RESTful API design Experience with data structures schemas and infrastructure Demonstrated experience in mentoring teams optimizing development workflows and enhancing application performance Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success Excellent leadership peer management and communication skills Desired Experience Skills Some exposure to Generative AI GenAI technologies Good to have AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification Experience with architecting and designing distributed systems that are highly available and security focused Experience with serverless architecture development Experience with Continuous Integration Deployments Terraform Git Lab Runners Experience with Application Monitoring Tools Splunk CloudWatch etc Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills
