About LearnTastic LearnTastic is a fast-growing online education platform providing accredited continuing-education and compliance courses for professionals across industries from healthcare and construction to HR and education With more than 1 000 courses and over a million learners served LearnTastic is redefining accessible self-paced learning Our mission is to make professional development simple engaging and impactful anytime anywhere As part of our dynamic team you ll help shape the learning experiences that empower individuals and organizations nationwide At LearnTastic great design isn t just about usability it s about transforming how people learn and grow We are looking for a skilled and creative WordPress Front-End Developer to join our team As a WordPress Front-End Developer you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging user experiences on WordPress-based websites Your primary focus will be on front-end development including HTML CSS JavaScript and WordPress theme customization Experience with WordPress theme development and a strong eye for design are essential for this role Responsibilities Collaborate with the design team to translate UI UX wireframes and mockups into fully functional WordPress themes Customize and modify existing WordPress themes to meet client requirements and ensure optimal user experience Develop responsive and mobile-friendly websites using HTML CSS JavaScript and WordPress Implement and optimize front-end performance and SEO best practices Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues and provide solutions for website enhancements Collaborate with back-end developers and integrate front-end elements with server-side logic Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress and front-end development Requirements Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a focus on WordPress Strong knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery Experience with WordPress theme customization and development Proficiency in responsive and mobile-first design principles Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Education and Experience Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer with a focus on WordPress Solid portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and front-end development skills Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a focus on WordPress Strong knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery Experience with WordPress theme customization and development Proficiency in responsive and mobile-first design principles Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Benefits 20 days of annual leave National holidays of your country of residence observed Learning and development opportunities Remote Telecommute position Powered by JazzHR
