We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst with a focus on R&D Precision Medicine. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional data analyst with a deep intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly learn complex business processes. This role involves close collaboration with architecture and engineering leaders, as well as user representatives, to define features, manage a product roadmap, and drive continuous improvement. You will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data-management solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Perform advanced data analysis and data profiling to surface value ranges in various data sources and propose unification logic. Use Excel workbooks to drive data stewarding and curation tasks.
- Product Management: Create and maintain the feature backlog in Jira and Confluence, documenting detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Agile Collaboration: Work closely with business teams, the Scrum Master, and development teams to plan and complete sprints, review feature iterations, and provide feedback.
- Service Management: Define, monitor, and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure the service meets performance and availability requirements. Oversee the resolution of service-related incidents.
- Reporting & Strategy: Create and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into product performance and user engagement. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
- Documentation & Communication: Create robust written materials, including product documentation, user guides, and release notes, ensuring clear and efficient collaboration across time zones.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree with experience as a Product/Platform/Service Owner, or a Bachelor's degree with more extensive experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional data analysis and data profiling skills, with a proven ability to develop advanced SQL queries.
- Hands-on skills using Power BI, including building basic models and reports.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product management principles, with experience in backlog and feature management tools like Jira.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
- Experience with data-management and visibility products such as data warehouses and master data management solutions.
- A SAFe Agile Practitioner (6.0) certification is preferred.
- Experience with human data, particularly human healthcare data, and familiarity with laboratory testing, patient data, HL7, FHIR, and clinical trial data management is a plus.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics to varied audiences.
