About the Role Insurance Specialist is responsible for driving Life Insurance and Non-Life Insurance sales through Sky Relationship Manager (WC & Tele RM). They coach and guide mapped Relationship managers and Virtual relationship managers through various product trainings and help them convert insurance enquiries in sales on day-to-day basis by shadowing RM's on F2F calls. Insurance Specialists act as fire wall and compliance gatekeepers for Life and Non-Life Insurance Sales as they are responsible for implementing sales process on ground. Apart from Sales conversion they look at Login of cases and liaise and co-ordinate with representatives of Life and Non-life Insurance companies for Issuance and renewal of business. They help in implementing various sales campaigns and strategies on ground and act as a catalyst to insurance Business. This helps in driving Insurance sales and increasing Insurance penetration in client portfolios. Insurance Specialist closely work with Relationship Managers & Virtual Relationship manager for maximum reach and optimizing business on their existing / NTB relationships. Key Responsibilities .Proactively engage with RMs / VRMs and their clients to establish financial needs, understand client requirement and provide the best financial solution to their existing and NTB relationships. .Training and coaching of Relationship Managers and Virtual relationship Managers on LI & GI products. .Training & coaching of RM's and VRMs to generate Insurance specific client appointments to drive Insurance sales. .Use financial acumen and industry expertise to review client personal data, align clients need through superior service thereby helping the clients reach short term and long-term investing goals along with life milestones like children's education, Marriage, purchase of assets like house etc, Retirement Planning and succession planning. .Achievement of Life & Non-Life Product wise targets and cross sell products as per demographics, lifestyle and risk profiling. .Responsible for Increasing Insurance penetration in client's portfolio along with deepening and upgrading all ETB and NTB relationships of the bank. .Resolving clints queries on day-to-day basis and ensuring healthy and compliant Insurance sales & Logins. .Ensuring a steady granular business growth along with maintenance of healthy renewal persistency. .Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is: .Postgraduate / MBA from a recognized institute .8- 10 years in relevant role in a bank or Insurance sector. (Life/ Non-Life Insurance) .AMFI , IRDA & PMS certified Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following: .Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends .Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms .Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language .Ability to manage complex client situations .Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self within a dynamic priority-setting environment .Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
