Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Lead Associate, Service Engineer The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of CT systems at customer sites. The role demands strong technical expertise in medical imaging systems, customer interaction skills, and the ability to ensure system uptime and service quality in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities - Installation & Commissioning: - Perform installation, calibration, and acceptance testing of CT systems at customer sites. - Ensure compliance with OEM installation and safety standards. - Maintenance & Support: - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and uptime. - Perform hardware and software upgrades as per OEM guidelines. - Diagnose and resolve system errors, component failures, or communication issues in CT systems. - Customer Interface: - Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. - Train hospital biomedical engineers and radiology technicians on system operation and safety. - Maintain strong customer relationships through prompt, professional service. - Technical Documentation: - Maintain accurate service logs, installation reports, and preventive maintenance records. - Document and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineering or global support teams. - Compliance & Safety: - Adhere to medical device service standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, etc.). - Follow radiation safety, EHS, and local regulatory requirements during installation and servicing. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering. - Experience in servicing CT scanners or other medical imaging equipment (MRI, X-ray, PET-CT, etc.). - Experience with multi-vendor service environments (GE, Siemens, Philips, Canon, etc.) is an advantage. - Strong understanding of high-voltage systems, gantry mechanics, X-ray generation, and detector electronics. - Knowledge of networking, DICOM, PACS, and Windows-based system configurations. - Ability to interpret system schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic logs. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and customer-handling abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. - Availability for on-call support during weekends or emergencies. - Certification or training from CT OEMs. - Basic understanding of CT image reconstruction and system calibration algorithms. - Familiarity with hospital IT environments and cybersecurity considerations for medical devices - - - - - -
