A] Position and Role Summary The Junior Site billing Engineer is the Entry level classification in the company's civil engineering position. This classification is assigned civil engineering work of moderate to High difficulty in the field in a working capacity. Work is subject to close review while in process and upon completion. The most important role of a site billing engineer is to create every kind of bill like R.A bills, Advance Bills, Cash bill and Final bill. B] Responsibilities Summary 1 To prepare BOQs, Sub-Contractors bills, and R.A bills with correct rates 2 To Verify contractor bills with site measurements and project rates. 3 To take on site measurements and Conduct random physical checks. 4 To Check and certify bill across trades(Civil, electrical, Plumbing) 5 To Generate Weekly/monthly/Project Wise cost reports and supports Project Manager with billing. 6 To handle material reconciliation and advance adjustments as per contracts. 7 To finalize project billing and submit summary data to Head office. 8 To maintain and balance the cashflow generations and workflow of any projects at the sites by monitoring the works ongoing. 9 To take out Estimation and cost, BBS, Rate analysis as per DAR and Market rate, Labor and Machinery analysis, which enable them to the billing works at different stage of construction with efficiency and accuracy. 10 To prepare quantity sheet from on site data and drawingsTo prepare and process subcontractor bills To take measurement from site Engineer. To get work done as per the protocol of the company. To follow up on the accounts department for payments To review the quantities item listed in projects. Have to check and certification of bills of vendors and subcontractors Have to check measurements Have to certify client bill Have to prepare reconciliation statements. To confirm that billed items align with contract specifications, approved rates and construction procedures To address and resolve any billing related issues or disagreements with sub contractors. To maintain comprehensive site records, including measurement books and contractor advance records. Assisting in the preparation and finalization of contractor bills as a part of project completion Keeping the construction manager updated on billing activities and maintaining clear communication throughout the billing cycle. To Study BOQ and extracting quantities from drawing. C] Ability to: 1 Verification of billed items 4 Specification compliance 5 Certification of payment 6 Discrepancy Resolution 7 Documentation and record keeping 8 Project Closure 9 Reporting 10 Quantity takeoffs 11 To check designs, details, estimates and the plans and specifications of engineering projects. 12 To write technical specification for subcontractor works. 13 To use survey and drawing instrument. 14 To apply engineering theory to practical field. 15 To follow safe working practices applicable to the job. D] Working Knowledge of: 1 Theories and practices of civil engineering, including construction, design and surveying. 2 strength, properties and use of construction materials and methods. 3 operation health and safety rules and working practices applicable to this position. 4 Theories and practices of civil engineering, including construction, design and Indian standard Codes. E] Minimum Qualification 1 Diploma & Degree in civil engineering from the state of Maharashtra, Vidarbha region only.
