About the job About LYKSTAGE LYKSTAGE is a fast-growing user-generated video platform built for creators and audiences at scale. We’re building a high-performance, secure, and cloud-native platform that enables creators to share, engage, and monetize their work seamlessly. As we expand globally, we’re looking for a Principal Architect to lead our technical strategy and engineering excellence CTC: 50LPA or less. Role Overview The Principal Architect will be responsible for driving the technical vision, leading architecture discussions, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure system design. You’ll work closely with product and engineering leadership to plan project delivery and make critical technical choices that shape the future of the LYKSTAGE platform. Key Responsibilities Architectural Leadership: Define, document, and communicate the overall architecture for LYKSTAGE’s platform and services. Ensure alignment between business goals and technical design. Technical Strategy: Lead discussions on technology stack choices, scalability strategies, data architecture, and microservices design. Evaluate new tools and technologies to keep the platform future-ready. Project Planning & Delivery: Collaborate with engineering and product managers to plan and oversee project execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Team Leadership: Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. Performance & Scalability: Design and optimize systems for large-scale user traffic, ensuring high availability and low latency across distributed environments. Cloud & DevOps: Define infrastructure architecture on AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms), ensuring security, cost optimization, and reliability. Required Skills & Experience Core Expertise: 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Golang. Proven experience designing and building web-scale applications. Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and API design. Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep understanding of AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.) or equivalent platforms. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud security best practices. Architecture & Design: Experience creating architecture blueprints, scaling strategies, and fault-tolerant systems. Strong grasp of system design patterns, caching, messaging queues, and data flows. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Collaborative mindset with the ability to align diverse teams on a common technical vision. Preferred Qualifications Experience with video streaming, real-time content delivery, or creator platforms. Knowledge of event-driven architectures and data pipelines. Familiarity with Go frameworks (Gin, Echo, Fiber) and modern frontend integration (React, Next.Js).
