Job Description Industry & Sector: InsurTech / Insurance core systems and IT services focused on Guidewire implementations, integrations, and testing for life, P&C, and commercial insurance clients. We deliver end-to-end quality assurance for large-scale policy, billing, and claims platforms across enterprise programs in India and APAC. Primary title: Guidewire Test Engineer Role & Responsibilities - Design, plan and execute functional, integration, system (SIT) and user-acceptance (UAT) test cycles for Guidewire modules (Policy/Billing/Claims). - Develop and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites using Guidewire Testing Framework and Selenium WebDriver where applicable. - Create and maintain test artifacts: test cases, test data, traceability matrices, test execution reports and sign-off checklists. - Author and review Gosu-based validation scripts and SQL queries to verify business rules, data integrity and batch processes. - Perform API testing for SOAP and REST integrations, log defects in JIRA, and collaborate with developers and integrators to validate fixes and retests. - Support release activities: environment readiness, test automation in CI/CD pipelines, and post-release verification to minimise production risk.
