Job Title: Internal Quality & Assurance Specialist u2013 Accounts Payable (P2P) Department: Finance u2013 Procure-to-Pay Role Purpose: To ensure accuracy, compliance, and process excellence in the Accounts Payable function by monitoring invoice processing quality, handling exceptions, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Quality Assurance & Compliance - Perform regular quality checks on invoices and suppliers to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and SOX controls. - Conduct periodic sample audits of all transactions to identify errors and compliance gaps. - Root Cause Analysis - Analyse recurring errors and exceptions, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventive measures. - Continuous Improvement - Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce defects. - Collaborate with automation teams to integrate quality controls in systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. - 1u20132 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay processes. - Strong knowledge of invoice processing, compliance, and audit controls. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Skills: - Experience in quality assurance or internal audit within finance operations. - Knowledge of SOX compliance and global P2P best practices. - Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
