Job Title: Java Application Support Engineer

Experience: 4- 8 yrs

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Application Support Engineer with a strong background in Java and production support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, performance, and availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.
- Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management.
- Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
- Manage and execute deployments using automation tools.
- Support in job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys/Control-M.
- Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
- Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management.
- Participate in on-call rotations and handle high-severity incidents as required.
