Job Title: Java Application Support EngineerExperience: 4- 8 yrsLocation: BangaloreEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Java Application Support Engineer with a strong background in Java and production support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, performance, and availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.Key Responsibilities:- Provide Level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.- Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management.- Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.- Manage and execute deployments using automation tools.- Support in job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys/Control-M.- Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.- Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management.- Participate in on-call rotations and handle high-severity incidents as required.Required Skills:Skill AreaTools/TechnologiesJava Application Support- Core JavaDatabase- SQL, MongoDBApplication Servers- Tomcat, WebLogicITSM Tools- ServiceNow, JIRAScripting & OS- Shell scripting, Unix/LinuxObservability & Monitoring- AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, PrometheusJob Scheduling Tools- Autosys, Control-MCI/CD & Deployment Tools- Jenkins, Harness, KubernetesITIL Processes- Incident, Problem & Change Management
