We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Product catalogue and seller onboarding engineer to join our team. This role involves visiting automobile product distributers, OEMs, and wholesaler, convincing them to register on automarts online market place, and assigning them in account creation and product listing. The candidate will manage product uploads and ensure catalogue accuracy and maintain product quality standards on our platform. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Catalogue Management Catalogue Data Integration: Work closely with sellers, internal teams, and third-party vendors to gather, verify, and integrate product data into the e-commerce platform. Data Accuracy & Standardization: Develop and enforce data standards and validation rules to ensure that product attributes such as titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are accurate, consistent, and compliant with company policies. Catalogue Enrichment: Collaborate with content teams and category specialists to enhance product listings through detailed descriptions, specifications, multimedia content, and categorization. Quality Assurance: Implement automated and manual quality checks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of product listings, addressing errors and inconsistencies proactively. Scalability: Design and implement scalable solutions for handling large volumes of product data with minimal manual intervention. Catalogue Updates: Manage continuous updates to the product catalogue in response to inventory changes, pricing updates, promotions, and product lifecycle events. 2. Seller Onboarding & Integration Seller Onboarding Process Design: Collaborate with product and operations teams to design an efficient and user-friendly seller onboarding process that supports quick and hassle-free registration, product listing, and compliance verification. Technical Integration: Provide technical support and guidance to sellers during integration of their product feeds, APIs, or bulk upload mechanisms with the platform. Automation & Tools: Develop and maintain tools or platforms that automate seller onboarding workflows, including document submission, KYC verification, product listing approvals, and training modules. Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with legal, compliance, fraud prevention, and payment teams to ensure all onboarding requirements and regulations are met before seller activation. Training & Support: Conduct seller training sessions and provide ongoing support to resolve onboarding issues and improve seller experience. 3. Process Improvement & Innovation Data Analytics: Use analytics to monitor onboarding and product catalogue metrics, identifying bottlenecks, data quality issues, and seller performance trends. Feedback Loops: Establish feedback channels with sellers and internal stakeholders to continuously improve catalogue data processes and onboarding workflows. Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement new technologies such as machine learning-based product categorization, automated data extraction from seller feeds, or AI-powered seller support bots.
