Mining Engineer

The Mining Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a steady and sustainable supply of critical raw materials e g rare earth metals lithium cobalt used in electronic components manufacturing This role involves collaborating with mining partners evaluating resource extraction processes and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards Key Responsibilities Raw Material Sourcing and Evaluation Identify and evaluate mining sites for the extraction of rare earth elements and other essential materials Assess the quality and quantity of minerals to meet production needs Collaboration and Partnership Collaborate with mining companies and raw material suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain Negotiate contracts and oversee procurement processes for raw materials Process Optimization Develop and improve mining methods to optimize raw material extraction for cost efficiency and sustainability Recommend advanced technologies and innovative techniques to enhance resource recovery Environmental Compliance Ensure all mining operations comply with environmental regulations and sustainability practices Monitor and minimize the environmental impact of mining activities Data Analysis and Reporting Analyze geological data to predict the feasibility of mining operations Prepare detailed reports on mining operations costs and raw material availability Quality Control Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet the required specifications for electronic manufacturing Collaborate with quality engineers to align raw materials with production standards Risk Management Identify and mitigate risks associated with mining and supply chain disruptions Develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted raw material flow Technology Integration Evaluate and recommend the use of automation and digital tools for mining and resource tracking Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mining Engineering Materials Science or a related field Strong understanding of rare earth elements and their applications in the electronics industry Knowledge of mining laws regulations and sustainability practices Experience with geological analysis software and supply chain management tools Excellent negotiation and project management skills Preferred Skills Familiarity with global mining trends and resource pricing Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to work in diverse and challenging environments Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 25 000 00 - 55 500 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
