Singhania & Co. is hiring an experienced lawyer for the position of Associate / Senior Associate to join their Corporate team in Gurugram, focusing on high-value Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions. Job Details - Position/Vacancies: Associate / Senior Associate Corporate (PE/VC & M&A) (1 position) - Job Type: Full-time - Experience: Qualified lawyer with 3+ years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). - Location: Gurugram (On-site / Hybrid) - Salary/Benefits: As per firm policy and candidate experience (Not disclosed). Practice Areas - Private Equity (PE) & Venture Capital (VC) Transactions - Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) - General Corporate Advisory (Employment, Service Agreements) - Due Diligence Eligibility & Requirements - Qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE. - Demonstrated experience in PE/VC transactions, M&A, and general corporate advisory. - Strong drafting & negotiation skills (SSAs, SHAs, JV agreements, etc.). - Ability to conduct due diligence, prepare reports, and manage deal processes. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to take on significant transactional responsibility. Key Responsibilities - Drafting, reviewing & negotiating key transaction documents (SSA, SHA, JVA, investment agreements). - Handling general corporate advisory work, including legal memos, employment & service agreements. - Assisting in due diligence for PE, VC & M&A transactions. - Supporting closing processes, coordination with stakeholders, and transaction management.
