Job Description SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement and fun. SciPlay currently offers nine core games, including social casino games Jackpot Party Casino, Gold Fish Casino Slots, Hot Shot Casino and Quick Hit Slots, and casual games MONOPOLY Slots, Bingo Showdown, 88 Fortunes Slots, Backgammon Live and Solitaire Pet Adventure with offices all over the world Position Summary We're seeking a seasoned Senior Product Owner to lead the vision, development, and delivery of social slot games. This role bridges creative innovation, technical execution, and player-focused design, ensuring exceptional entertainment experiences aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate is a slots domain expert with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proven experience collaborating across teams. Key Responsibilities Product Leadership & Delivery - Partner with global studio counterparts to ensure seamless integration and consistent player experience. - Serve as the single source of truth for product vision and features. - Lead game kickoff meetings, ensuring alignment on vision, scope, and objectives. - Translate product vision into Epics and User Stories with a prioritized and well-maintained backlog. - Establish clear acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) for all features. - Validate deliverables against specs to ensure design and player experience goals are met. - Maintain up-to-date game documentation, including specification sheets and one-pagers. Agile Execution & Studio Collaboration - Remove blockers and ensure timely milestone delivery. - Oversee bug triage and backlog prioritization. - Own the accuracy and health of the JIRA board. - Lead internal/external demos, aligning stakeholders and capturing actionable feedback. Quality, Insights & Risk Management - Lead feature and bug triage, setting priorities based on impact and quality. - Act as final reviewer for builds before stakeholder distribution. - Conduct product reviews, recommending enhancements based on playtesting and data insights. - Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and required adjustments. - Track competitor titles and market trends to inform ongoing product strategy. Strategic & Growth Opportunities - Partner with design and product leadership to shape new game mechanics and features. - Define and evolve the long-term product roadmap aligned with portfolio goals. - Collaborate with analytics to evaluate post-launch performance Qualifications (Must-Haves) - 8-12 years in gaming, with 5-8 years in slot game product ownership. - Proven track record as a Game Product Owner or Game Designer in social casino or iGaming. - Expertise in Development, QA, Art, or Animation. - Strong grasp of slot mechanics, player psychology, math models, volatility, and balancing. - Experience working with distributed global teams. - Skilled in JIRA, Confluence, Perforce, and agile methodologies. - Passion for slot games and deep understanding of player motivations. - Excellent communication and elaboration skills - Ability to think strategically and analytically with a hands-on approach. Nice-to-Haves - Experience with Light & Wonder / SciPlay or similar portfolios. - Strong grasp of slot mechanics, player psychology, math models, volatility, and gameplay - Familiarity with Tableau or other analytics tools. - Basic programming knowledge for effective collaboration with technical teams.
