Guest Service and Interaction Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon arrival. Escort them to their table and present menus. Answer any queries regarding the menu, food preparation, or dietary concerns. Make recommendations and upsell food and beverage items where appropriate. Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar. 2. Order Delivery and Table Service Serve food and beverages to guests according to the set standards. Ensure proper presentation and temperature of dishes before serving. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or complaints. Refill water, beverages, and assist guests throughout their meal. Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery between courses and after meals. 3. Table Setting and Cleanliness Prepare the dining area before service begins – clean tables, arrange cutlery, fold napkins, and ensure adequate supplies. Reset tables after guests leave, maintaining cleanliness and readiness for new diners. Sanitize and maintain hygiene in compliance with food safety and health regulations. 4. Coordination with Kitchen and Bar Staff Liaise effectively with kitchen staff and bar personnel to ensure timely service. Follow up on delayed orders or special requests. Communicate any food allergies or special dietary requirements to the kitchen team. 5. Billing and Payments Present bills to guests and handle payments through cash, card, or other modes. Ensure the accuracy of billing information and apply any applicable discounts or offers. Maintain a cash float (if assigned) and settle daily accounts with the cashier or supervisor. 6. Inventory and Stock Monitoring Inform the supervisor or manager about low stock levels of cutlery, crockery, napkins, or condiments. Assist in monthly inventory counts and maintaining stock levels of service items. Help in receiving and storing supplies delivered to the restaurant or outlet. 7. Team Collaboration Work harmoniously with other team members to ensure smooth service. Attend daily briefings, training sessions, or meetings as scheduled by management.
