Senior Lab Technician - Hospital Setting Experience Level 05 Years Department Pathology Laboratory Services Reporting To Medical Director Key Responsibilities 1 Sample Management o Receive label and process patient specimens accurately o Ensure proper sample handling storage and disposal 2 Testing Analysis o Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests for various departments o Operate and maintain diagnostic lab equipment and instruments o Ensure accurate calibration and maintenance logs 3 Quality Safety o Perform and document internal quality controls IQC and participate in external quality assessments EQAS o Comply with hospital infection control and biohazard safety protocols o Ensure adherence to NABH standards 4 Data Reporting o Enter test results and cross-verify critical values o Alert clinicians of abnormal or life-threatening results immediately 5 Team Supervision o Supervise junior lab staff and trainees o Coordinate duty rosters assign tasks and ensure timely test reporting o Train and update staff on SOPs and new procedures 6 Inventory Equipment o Monitor stock of reagents and consumables o Coordinate with Inventory department for timely supply replenishments 7 Compliance Audits o Assist in preparing for lab audits inspections and accreditations o Maintain detailed documentation of processes records and reports Education Bachelor s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology BMLT or Clinical Laboratory Science B Sc MLT Alternatively a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology DMLT with substantial experience Preferred Master s degree in MLT M Sc MLT or related Life Sciences field Experience Minimum 05 years of hands-on experience in a clinical laboratory Proven track record in working across departments like o Hematology o Biochemistry o Microbiology o Serology Supervisory or team lead experience is highly desirable Salary Range- Rs 25 000 - and above depending on experience To apply- Email your resume to hr pattedivf com Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
