Job Description Clearing & Settlement (C & S):CCGO Team INTERNAL USAGE: No. of Vacancies: Reports to: Senior Vice President-1 Is a Team leader Y/N Team Size: Grade: Officer/ Assistant Manager Business: Retail Operations Department: Clearing & Settlements Sub-Department: CCGO Location: NPC-2, Hyderabad About Name of BU Centralised CTS Grid Operations (CCGO) handles CTS outward/ inward instruments and also ECS transactions of the Bank. The cheques are processed as per cut-off timelines fixed by RBI/ NPCI. The job involves night shift (shift rotation every two months) working after successful completion of training. AbouttheRole Verification and authorization of Outward and Inward Clearing instruments received in CTS application. Achievement of productivity targets assigned by the supervisor Reduction of staff and vendor errors impacting customers Completion of assigned activities in time. Processing of inward zones and tallying and submission of inward returns within session cut-off timings. Tallying and processing of sub-member instruments within cut off timings. Ensuring timely processing of outward returns and regularization of outward zones, making clear funds available for the customers. Ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of branch / customer queries. Following up with branches /other banks/ customers for recovery of amount lost due to operational errors. Reconciliation of office accounts and timely completion of EOD on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities Error free verification of inward/ outward clearing cheques. Achievement of productivity targets assigned by the supervisor. Reduction of staff and vendor errors impacting customers Minimizing fraud/ operational losses Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is: Education- Graduation in case of Officer and Post Graduation in case of Asst. Manager position Experience Freshers/ 1-2 year experience in any bank/ reputed corporate Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following: Knowledge of English, Hindi and any regional language Knowledge of business/ economy Good data entry speed with high accuracy levels Skills Error free verification of Outward and Inward clearing instruments. Timely completion of assigned activities. Abilities (e.g Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
