With a 98 % visa acceptance rate, VisionX Study Abroad is dedicated to a transparent and student-first approach. About the Role This is a full-time remote role for an Overseas Education Counsellor. The Overseas Education Counsellor will be responsible for providing educational consulting, mentoring students, assisting with career counselling, and guiding students through the study abroad process. The role involves regular communication with students and parents, preparing necessary documentation, and collaborating with universities and financial institutions to facilitate student admissions and loans. Responsibilities - Providing educational consulting - Mentoring students - Assisting with career counselling - Guiding students through the study abroad process - Regular communication with students and parents - Preparing necessary documentation - Collaborating with universities and financial institutions to facilitate student admissions and loans Qualifications - Educational Consulting and Student Counselling skills - Strong Communication skills - Experience in Career Counselling and Education sectors - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to understand and cater to unique student needs - Experience working with international education systems is a plus - Relevant certification or degree in Education, Counselling, or related field Required Skills - Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroad - Guide students on what courses to opt for based on their profile and interest. - Assist students on deciding on the universities/colleges and programs to opt for. - Assist in preparing and filing of their applications. - Guiding students on the visa process and visa applications - Participate in educational activities such as exhibitions and events as and when required. Preferred Skills - Experience working with Study abroad education consultancy is a plus What will you be doing?
