Deputy Manager Moulding Machine Maintenance & Operations Job Description Experience/: 10 to 13 yrs Salary/: Based on Previous Experience Challenges/: Predictive maintenance /(PdM/) powered by IIoT sensors, high/-tonnage robotic cells, and smart factory integration are all quickly moving forward in the injection moulding sector. In order to shift the maintenance function from reactive repair to strategic, cost/-saving asset performance management, the future requires a Deputy Maintenance Manager who is both an operational leader and a technical authority. This manager must be able to manage a team, optimise machine dependability, and use data. Our goal is to use astute, proactive maintenance leadership to attain world/-class OEE /(Overall Equipment Effectiveness/). What you will do/: Leading and supervising the daily activities of the maintenance team, providing expert technical guidance, and managing shift schedules. Overseeing the execution of the Planned Preventive Maintenance program, ensuring schedule adherence, documentation accuracy, and continuous optimization based on machine history and OEM recommendations. Conducting advanced root cause analysis /(RCA/) for chronic or major breakdowns and implementing permanent engineering solutions. Managing spare parts inventory and procurement for critical machine components, balancing cost efficiency with risk of downtime. Developing and enforcing stringent safety procedures, ensuring the team is fully compliant with all industrial safety regulations.
