Team Lead, Quality Assurance

Job Description Position Summary: Infor is seeking an experienced Team Lead, Quality Assurance to lead and grow a team of talented engineers responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Infor ERPA XA product on the IBMi / iSeries platform. This role requires a dynamic, motivated self-starter professional and can thrive in a constantly evolving environment. As a Team Lead, Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for leading QA projects & growing the team, managing technology in projects, and providing guidance to the team. Essential Duties: Lead and grow a team of talented QA-Engineers responsible for development and maintenance of Infor ERPA XA product. Provide direction and oversight for entry-level to mid-level QA - Engineers. Lead - Quality Assurance projects; Identify project risks and escalate to management as needed. Work with senior management and product management to efficiently and effectively allocate team members for meeting business objectives. Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Develops metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and productivity of the team. Participates in design meetings, provide technical inputs, guides the team on estimating software development projects. Ensure processes, technical best practices are constantly improved and enforced; Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, learning, and respect for team members. Preparing and executing test plans along with all other aspects of software testing Identifying, logging, and tracking of software defects Re-test on defect fixes to confirm resolution Interpret functional requirements and translate them into test requirements Ensure the quality of all deliveries Testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirements and established Be open to take on other projects and responsibilities as necessary. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, or related field preferred. 8-10 years of software testing experience with 3+ years leading high performing Quality Assurance teams in a constantly evolving environment. Experience on ERP product Manual testing is Mandatory and Finance Domain experience could be excellent to have. Good to have experience in Java & Selenium. Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings. Proven experience in software testing methodologies Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills; effectively communicate and collaborate with all areas of engineering and product management; ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. Proven experience in software development methodologies, release management, and functional testing Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with agile methodologies. Strong analytical skills, and Ability to multi-task Excellent communication required with offshore, onsite and customer. Self-motivated with desire to learn product functionality without limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Quality Assurance of ERP Systems. Experience with ERP XA and/or IDF. Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings. Ability to multi-task; Self-teacher in acquiring technical skills. Experience with SQL, Relational databases, Processes, Java, and Selenium. Ability to work in current technical environments and with collaborative tools (Jira, Wiki, etc.) Knowledge and hands on experience with agile methodologies.
