Job Purpose:
To collect, manage, analyze, and visualize geospatial data, connecting location data with descriptive information to understand patterns, relationships, and context and mapping project sites, and maintaining accurate documentation in the various projects of TSF. The role ensures data-driven planning, monitoring, and reporting of project activities, contributing to transparency, efficiency, and impact assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
GIS & Mapping:
- Collect, analyse, and manage geospatial data related to renewable energy, watershed, water resource, agricultural infra in the project areas.
- Watershed delineation and development of various maps like LUCL maps, soil maps, preparation of LUCL and demographic data base.
- Mapping of water harvesting structures / other infra with geospatial reference in various maps
- Create and update maps for site selection, infrastructure planning, and monitoring.
- Use GIS tools to visualize project impact, coverage, and resource distribution.
- Integrate GIS data with project dashboards and reports.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, including site assessments, implementation progress, and stakeholder interactions.
- Prepare reports, case studies, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper archiving of technical documents, permits, and community engagement records.
- Support impact assessment and data collection for CSR reporting and audits.
Coordination & Support:
- Collaborate with field teams, technical experts, and CSR staff to gather and validate data.
- Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with CSR guidelines and data privacy standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Engineering, B.Sc. or B.tech in geoinformatics , or related field. Master’s degree or certification in GIS, Remote Sensing, or Project Documentation will be preferred.
Experience: 0–5 years of experience in GIS and documentation, preferably in water , agriculture, renewable energy and CSR projects .
Skills:
- Proficiency in GIS and remote sensing software.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with renewable energy and sustainability concepts.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience working with NGOs, government schemes, or CSR programs.
- Knowledge of CSR regulations and ESG reporting frameworks.
