Job Title: Senior Python Backend Engineer Experience: 8–10 years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Onsite Location: Hyderabad (Hitech City preferred) or Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate / 15 Days / 1 Month Buyout Client Domain: IT Job Overview We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The candidate will work onsite at the client's location. Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and scale backend systems using Python. - Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to improve system performance. - Design and manage SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization. - Build secure, efficient, and well-documented RESTful APIs for internal and external use. - Work with Google APIs and leverage GCP services for compute, storage, and database operations. - Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to meet requirements. - Maintain code quality through best practices, documentation, and code reviews. - Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and processes. Required Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in Python for backend development. - Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development. - Experience working with Google APIs and GCP services. - Knowledge of Git and version control workflows. - Additional advantage: Understanding of AWS. Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
