Job Description

Embark on a transformative journey as a VP Head of Change, India, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Compliance team supporting the broader Transformation and Change portfolio, with a specific initial focus on local support to coordinate the Compliance build out in India in 2025, drive key programmes in our digital and simplification agenda. Key responsibilities will include supporting the build out of a Compliance presence in India and the broader functional transformational objectives. You'll need to deliver the Compliance Automate Core Process projects and the resulting process reengineering, automation and change opportunities. You must provide PMO support on the governance and reporting requirements to Group, particularly for Automate Core Processes (ACP).You will play a crucial role in stakeholder management, building effective relationships and promoting collaborative communication. The team facilitates decision-making processes and supports transformation projects by incorporating stakeholder inputs.

To be successful as a VP Compliance Head of Change, India, you should have experience with:

- Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders, particularly within the Compliance department and global Technology teams
- Ability to handle Process and Technology Change effectively via the groups define Change Management Delivery Standards (GMDS)
- Business Transformation, transition experience for ideally Compliance or finance process.
- Locational strategy experience for setting up new/transition business process from one location to other
- On-shoring and off-shoring business process experience
- Change Management: Facilitation of change management activities. Management of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Project and Process Management: Experience in managing change projects and conducting process reviews.
- Organization design, specific experience within financial services and ideally within the Compliance field.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication: Ability to explain complex concepts to various levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical audiences, senior management, project teams, and external partners.
- Demonstratable experience in people leadership with the ability to drive performance and create a culture of continuous personal development and growth

- Any Postgraduate/MBA with experience working in Banking institutions
- Change Management qualifications (PMP, AMP)
- Experience in delivery large scale programme.
- Strong acumen in change management principles (I.e Agile and Waterfall methodology)

Purpose of the role

To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

- Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
- Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
- Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
- Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
- Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
- Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
