Were looking for a strategic, hands-on, and tech-savvy HRBP Director to lead the People agenda across our high growth business unit NETGEAR for Business as well as the country of India. This role is ideal for someone whos excited to roll up their sleeves and help lead andbuild from the ground up. Youll partner closely with the current India People Partner, other People Team Partners (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent, Culture and Org Effectiveness) and senior leadership to drive business outcomes with talent, scale teams, shape culture, and support our transformation journey.
Youll also play a vital role in embedding an AI-first mindset into the People functionleveraging AI to automate repetitive HRBP tasks such as data analysis, query management, reporting, documentation, and process workflows.
This role will require regular travel between our engineering sites in Bangalore and Chennai. This is a hybrid role and requires 3+ days in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management
- Partner with senior leadership for NFB and India to drive the People transformation agenda, ensuring strategic alignment with NETGEARs global business priorities.
- Lead organization-wide change initiatives across NFB and India that enable scale, agility, and innovation.
- Act as a transformation coach and thought partner to global NFB and local India leaders, helping teams adapt to growth and new ways of working.
Talent Management
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and local leadership to build and scale high-performing teams, particularly for the Chennai CoE.
- Drive effective talent management strategies in partnership with the Talent, Culture and OE teamfrom attraction to development to retention.
- Support leadership development and succession planning to build future-ready teams.
Drive Decisions with Data
- Utilize HR analytics and insights to inform business decisions and workforce planning.
- Champion the use of AI and technology to reduce manual tasks and improve speed and accuracy in decision-making.
- Measure the impact of HR initiatives and continuously improve through data.
- In partnership with Total Rewards ensure we are attracting and retaining top talent in the competitive and fast-moving India market
Company And Talent Advocacy
- Represent both the business and employees to ensure a balanced, high-impact people strategy.
- Strengthen company culture and employee experience across NFB and India.
- Put business acumen to work while championing fairness, inclusion, and employee engagement.
What Were Looking For
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including global, senior HRBP or regional HR leadership roles.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global context.
- A builders mindsetcomfortable operating solo at first while influencing broadly.
- Track record of supporting scaling and transformation, ideally in a high-growth or tech-led environment.
- Strong understanding of the India HR landscape, employment regulations, and regional nuances.
- Passion for AI and technology in HRfrom process automation to decision support.
- Comfortable using data to guide actions, measure success and stay competitive in the India market.
