Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex age national origin protected veteran status or disability status EEO Disabled Vets About News Corp News Corp is a global diversified media and information services company focused on creating and distributing authoritative and engaging content to consumers and businesses throughout the world The company comprises businesses across a range of media including news and information services book publishing digital real estate services cable network programming in Australia and pay-TV distribution in Australia What You ll Do We are looking for an experienced Product Security Engineer to lead the Product Security Life Cycle within our team This vital role involves close collaboration with Global product teams coordinating penetration tests and resolving security issues A key responsibility will be developing and maintaining our application security pipeline automation ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong relationships with product engineering teams providing guidance on application security processes and objectives Performed secure code reviews for web and mobile applications developed in diverse programming languages ensuring adherence to security best practices Lead the Security Automation through coding using Python within our cloud environment Assist in managing Akamai Web Application Firewall and Bot Manager by reviewing alerts and policies on regular basis Optionally manage the penetration testing process working closely with third-party testers to generate detailed reports recommend remediation strategies and effectively communicate results to development teams and product owners Required Experience Qualifications Degree in Technology Computer Science Engineering Cybersecurity a related field or equivalent experience Background in Application Product Security techniques and best practices Strong Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills within automation scripts Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with other leaders across the global business to identify opportunities and risks Solid understanding of Software Development principles Experience with programming languages such as Java Python PHP and JavaScript At Least one programming language is a PLUS Knowledge of penetration testing processes and report generation Familiarity with development tools e g Git Jenkins Maven Hands-on experience with security testing tools including Snyk Checkmarx Nikto and Nmap Proficiency in SAST DAST and SCA vulnerability triage and assessment Agile project management experience e g Jira Knowledge or familiarity with AWS is a PlusCertifications CEH ISC2 CC Security eWPT eWPTX PWPE OSCP OSWA OSWE or similar Location Bangalore India Working Arrangement Hybrid In office 3 days per week Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race colour religion sex national origin protected veteran status or disability status EEO AA M F Disabled Vets This job is posted with NTS Technology Services Pvt Ltd Job Category News Corp is a global diversified media and information services company focused on creating and distributing authoritative and engaging content to consumers throughout the world The company comprises businesses across a range of media including news and information services book publishing digital real estate services cable network programming in Australia and pay-tv distribution in Australia Headquartered in New York the activities of News Corp are conducted primarily in the United States Australia and the United Kingdom
