Before you apply to a job select your language preference from the options available at the top right of this page Explore your next opportunity at a Fortune Global 500 organization Envision innovative possibilities experience our rewarding culture and work with talented teams that help you become better every day We know what it takes to lead UPS into tomorrow people with a unique combination of skill passion If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level A Senior FinOps Analyst plays a strategic role in managing and optimizing cloud financial operations This position bridges the gap between finance engineering and operations teams to ensure efficient cloud spending and financial accountability The role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms financial modeling and cross-functional collaboration Key Responsibilities Cloud Cost Management Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending across platforms ideally Azure and Google Cloud Identify cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies in cloud resource utilization Recommend changes to pricing models service usage and purchasing strategies Financial Planning Analysis Develop and maintain financial models to forecast cloud costs and track actuals Assist in budgeting and financial planning for cloud infrastructure and services Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering finance procurement and operations teams Translate technical cloud usage data into financial insights for non-technical stakeholders Support procurement in vendor negotiations and contract evaluations Process Improvement Automation Implement FinOps best practices and governance frameworks Develop automated tools and scripts for cost tracking and reporting Continuously improve internal processes to enhance cost visibility and control Strategic Leadership Serve as a subject matter expert on FinOps practices Lead initiatives to embed FinOps culture across the organization Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud financial management Employee Type Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination harassment and retaliation
