Position: Consultant / Senior Consultant / AVP / VP (multiple openings)

Axience is currently looking to hire seasoned research professionals to support in various aspects of market research, market sizing and assessment, competitive intelligence, strategy support. Broad range of activities include:

The Role and Responsibilities

A Consultant at Axience is hired typically as a fresh graduate / postgraduate or from industry with maximum of 2-3 years of experience. Consultants work on basic market and strategic research. Detailed responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

- Understand research objectives, design partial or full research strategies, interpret and analyse information for accuracy, exhaustiveness and applicability
- Work on projects ranging from market entry study, opportunity assessment, competitive landscape, target/supplier identification & benchmarking, newsletters, company profiles, etc
- Mapping industry professionals and their background to build analytical insights and for primary interviews
- Working on RFP and proposals as well as pilot projects for the clients

A Senior Consultant (SC) / Assistant Vice President (AVP) - will be exclusively responsible for all ongoing projects (existing and new) for one or more accounts in Research and Consulting Business and possibly in other sectors too

- SC / AVP will play a key role (if not exclusive lead role) in complex, client engaging ad-hoc projects related to business/market/competitive assessment and intelligence
- Should have least 4-6 years of experience working on various projects into multiple sector and have supported Corporates / Professional Services / Investment Management clients
- He/she will lead anywhere between one to four accounts based on size and importance of accounts, experience and seniority of account lead and other factors and work time to time on other accounts and initiatives
- SC / AVP will have a customer centric mind over and above delivery centric approach and will engage directly with senior management of the firm and act as an interface between delivery team and management as directed and needed

A Vice President (VP) leads end to end delivery of projects - scoping, planning, day to day analysis, managing efforts of junior team members, client interface, conducting own analysis and reporting

- A VP at Axience is hired typically from peer groups or related background with minimum of 8 years of experience
- To work on market strategic research projects and take full responsibilities of managing, mentoring, guiding and training analysis

Desired Academic and Professional Background

- MBA from a premier business school (those with an engineering background would be given higher priority)
- Multiple years of post-graduation experience in business / market research, company / sector studies, among others
- Understanding of financial concepts and analysis
- Conversant with investment analysis and business due diligence
- Strong project structuring skills, secondary and primary market research skills
- Should have highly developed and demonstrable research and analytical skill set
- Prior work experience with captives of management consulting firms is a plus
