We are seeking a mid/senior-level Data Privacy Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in data protection regulations, compliance consulting, and privacy risk management who want to contribute to impactful client projects.
This will begin as a remote, unpaid role, but offers performance-based compensation and growth opportunities as we expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support client consulting projects related to DPDPA, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other global data privacy frameworks
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs), gap analyses, and risk assessments
- Draft and review privacy policies, consent management frameworks, and data processing agreements
- Advise clients on data subject rights management, cross-border data transfers, and lawful processing
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and provide actionable insights for clients
- Collaborate with the team on DPO-as-a-Service engagements and ongoing compliance monitoring
- Train client teams on privacy best practices and compliance obligations
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Law, Cyber Law, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 38 years of experience in data privacy, compliance consulting, or regulatory advisory
- Strong knowledge of DPDPA, GDPR, DPDPA 2023, CCPA, HIPAA, or other international privacy laws
- Experience with privacy governance frameworks and risk management
- Ability to draft policies, procedures, and compliance reports independently
- Consulting background (ISO, legal advisory, or risk management) preferred
- Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or ISO 27701 Lead Implementer are an advantage
