Generate Accurate Demand Plan for specific business units o Drive operational rigor through real time monitoring and management of short- and medium-term demand plan o Drive Inventory and buffer optimization processes to achieve the desired customer service levels at optimal cost o Drive supply-demand match and mitigation plans for capacity gaps as well as what-if scenarios to support decision making with a service and P L mindset o Provide a clear forecast and prioritized signal downstream to the end-to-end execution teams o Partner with product engineering supply chain finance data center ops cloud server hardware and networking teams to ensure all functions act in alignment with common goals o Manage key KPI and optimize the plan for availability revenue and cost o Identify process tools and systems improvement opportunities and drive improvement and transformation efforts to optimize planning o Apply advanced analytics concepts toward rich insights and key financial and strategic decisions o Manage plan changes due transition in features and offerings as well as underlying infrastructure or hardware changes Minimum qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Engineering Supply Chain Information Technology IT Business Operations Finance Accounting Data Science or related field AND 4 years supply chain inventory management or sales operations experience preferably in planning demand supply forecasting cloud industry experience infrastructure data science and or channel management experience OR equivalent experience Qualifications Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft customer and or government security screening requirements are required for this role These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings Microsoft Cloud Background Check This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire transfer and every two years thereafter Preferred qualifications Bachelor s degree or equivalent in the supply chain related product technology business administration or engineering field Masters preferred o 10 years of experience in the supply chain domain - Demand Planning Supply Planning and Inventory Management experience is a preferred o Understanding of Cloud Supply Chain would be a plus o Strong Data and Analytical Skills required o Proficiency in Enterprise Planning Systems such as SAP Oracle etc and business intelligence engines SQL Power BI Power Pivot Tableau desired for the role Preferred Qualifications o Program Management You need to be able to lead cross-functional teams on complex projects with many variables o Generating clarity This is one of the most important aspects of what we do Our job is to align everyone on the same plan and keep them there This requires contact communication and diligence to squash any ambiguity o Data and Analytical Skills Are you able to identify themes and leanings out of data Define the essence of a function and measure its success Provide KPI that are clear to understand and can drive decision making Are you able to generate data visualization for practitioners use leveraging large data handling skills o Results Are you a doer who can span from strategic thinking to getting stuff done and consistently delivering Ultimately ensuring capacity availability at the right cost and minimal surprises or churn o Communications and influencing Can you build relationships and influence people -
