Summary You love designing apps that people love to use. In this role, youll help design innovative, usable, and buildable phone, tablet, and laptop/desktop applications. Youre a problem solve you love taking complex functionality and making it simple and elegant, and delight in designing thoughtful details into a solution. Your blend of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design skills enables you to explore ideas from a variety of perspectives You embrace AI as a powerful tool to amplify your design capabilities, using prompt based design tools and AI assisted research to accelerate ideation, generate design variations, and uncover user insights. You understand how to craft effective prompts to guide AI tools while applying your design judgment to refine and elevate AI generated outputs into polished, human centered solutions. Additionally, because software is an interactive medium, you enjoy creating (and/or collaborating to create) prototypes that illustrate how an app will look and work Responsibilities Solve design challenges. You have experience in interaction design, information architecture, and/or visual design. While its rare to find someone deeply skilled in all design disciplines, you are deep in at least two and have some skills in the third Based on your skills, you'll create annotated wireframes, visual design comps, user flows, and/or paper and interactive prototypes as necessary to explore ideas and document design decisions. Youll leverage AIpowered design tools to rapidly generate design variations and explore alternative approaches while applying your expertise to evaluate and refine outputs Leverage AI for user research and insights. You'll use AI tools to analyze user feedback, identify patterns in qualitative data, and synthesize research findings more efficiently. This includes using AI to help analyze interview transcripts, survey responses, and behavioral data to uncover user needs and pain points. You'll also employ AI-assisted tools to generate hypotheses and research questions, while maintaining critical thinking to validate AI-generated insights through traditional research methods Participate in usability testing. Often it takes a few iterations to find the right design solution. You will help prepare materials to support usability tests, help interpret results, and modify designs based on the outcomes. You ll explore AI powered tools for analyzing usability testing data and identifying patterns in user behavior Create and refine design systems to facilitate a unified experience. Use an iterative process, working closely with design and engineering counterparts to design, prototype, and validate design ideas. Leverage AI tools to help generate design system documentation, ensure consistency across components, and identify opportunities for system optimization. Create atomic components, high fidelity prototypes, user guidelines and presentation decks. Document guidelines for using and implementing components
