Job Description Job Title: Project Manager IEC & Swachh Survekshan Documentation (SBM-U) Location: Jalandhar, Punjab Employment Type: Contractual (Project-Based) Reporting To: CEO / Authorized Officer Salary Range: 25,000 30,000 per month About Us: Samvedna Development Society (SDS) is a leading non-profit organization committed to driving sustainable urban development and social transformation. SDS actively works in collaboration with government bodies and urban local authorities to support flagship national missions, including the Swachh Bharat MissionUrban (SBM-U), through effective IEC, capacity building, and documentation initiatives. Position Overview: The Project Manager IEC & SBM-U will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of IEC, Behavior Change Communication (BCC), Capacity Building, and Swachh Survekshan documentation activities. The role ensures 100% compliance with SBM-U guidelines and accurate, timely reporting on the Swachhatam Portal. Key Responsibilities: As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering SBM-Urelated project activities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Project Coordination & Management: - Swachh Survekshan Documentation: - IEC/BCC & Capacity Building: - Stakeholder Coordination: - Compliance & Monitoring: - Reporting: - Regulatory Compliance: - Review Meetings & Follow-ups: - Team Guidance: - Audit & Gap Closure: Qualifications & Experience: - Graduate / Postgraduate in Environmental Science, Social Work, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field. - Minimum 23 years of experience in SBM-U, Solid Waste Management (SWM), IEC/BCC, or Swachh Survekshanrelated projects. - Proven experience working with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) or Government departments. Key Skills Required: - Strong understanding of Swachh Bharat MissionUrban and Swachh Survekshan indicators. - Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage teams and deliver outputs within strict timelines. - Strong reporting, documentation, and portal management skills.
