Job Category Mechanical Engineering Job Summary If you are an order execution and product engineering support professional Emerson has an exciting role for you We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work with our Knife Gate Valve KGV engineering team This role will work independently and as part of a team to execute orders with engineering support for ERP and PLM activities for KGV products You will work on valve sustainment support which includes part code and BoM generation General Arrangement Drawings GADs CAD support for ETO and NPD projects working with suppliers to resolve technical queries and interaction with Project Management Sales and Production teams In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be Work within an engineering team to create and maintain ERP data in support of order execution at Plant Prepare order engineering deliverables e g technical order review BoMs GADs 60 Provide CAD support for ETO and NPD and Sustenance Engineering projects 30 Provide product engineering support in aid of manufacturing 10 Who You Are You continually identify and create processes necessary to get work done with ability to separate and combine tasks as required into efficient and simple workflows You focus efforts on continuous improvement and have a knack for identifying and seizing opportunities for synergy and integration You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations You work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives For This Role You Will Need Minimum 3 to 5 years proven experience on order execution and product sustainment engineering Proficient in engineering CAD PLM tools preferably SolidWorks Inventor Autodesk Vault SolidWorks PDM Pro etc Sound Experience on ERP systems like SAP BaaN etc Good understanding of manufacturing processes materials used in general mechanical industry Experience with industrial design standards like ASME ANSI standards API EN etc Thoroughness in documentation attention to detail Effectively communicate with Local Global cross-functional teams Fluent in English both written and verbal and effectively communicate with Local Global cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart Bachelor s Mechanical Engineering Degree or related Engineering CAD tool certificates will be an added advantage Our Culture Commitment to You At Emerson we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued respected and empowered to grow We foster an environment that encourages innovation collaboration and diverse perspectives-because we know that great ideas come from great teams Our commitment to ongoing career development and growing an inclusive culture ensures you have the support to thrive Whether through mentorship training or leadership opportunities we invest in your success so you can make a lasting impact We believe diverse teams working together are key to driving growth and delivering business results We recognize the importance of employee wellbeing We prioritize providing competitive benefits plans a variety of medical insurance plans Employee Assistance Program employee resource groups recognition and much more Our culture offers flexible time off plans including paid parental leave maternal and paternal vacation and holiday leave
