Role Description

- Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DB's Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.
- Under the direction of Service Owner, AVP will work as a lead to drive the designing, implementation and governance of automated infrastructure solutions across our global technology landscape. The role will require strong leadership skills to guide teams in building scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure. The individual should not only be technically sound but also passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and driving meaningful change.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for designing, implementation and governance of automated infrastructure solutions across our global technology landscape
- Oversee design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Identify opportunities for automation in deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and speed up release cycles
- Develop team capabilities to enable teams to work on Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate Infrastructure as Code practices into existing workflows
- Ensure completeness of documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational procedures
- Manage and optimize resource inventory to minimize costs while meeting performance requirements
- Responsible for delivering the requisite level of network resiliency and for testing network failover
- Support project managers and the regional product leads in project planning, tracking, and reporting

Your Skills And Experience

- 10+ years of experience working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutions
- Strategic thinker with an ability to balance innovation with operational excellence
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, mentor and develop team
- Subject matter expert in one or more network technologies, with experience in managing large teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment
