About Us Marriott International Inc headquartered in Bethesda Maryland USA was founded in May 1927 by J Willard Marriott and Alice S Marriott with a modest nine-seat A W root beer stand Guided by the family s leadership and core principles Marriott International today has grown into a global hospitality giant operating approximately 9 000 properties and over 30 leading brands in more than 140 countries and territories From such humble beginnings to becoming the worlds largest hotel company Marriott International has never stopped searching for inventive ways to serve its customers provide opportunities for its associates and grow their business AtMarriott Tech Accelerator center MTA Hyderabad India Marriott is exploring the world we live in and all its possibilities At Marriott Tech Accelerator we are a team of passionate engineering minds dedicated to creating and building cutting-edge solutions that streamline operations and elevate guest experiences Marriott Tech Accelerator center isfully owned andoperated by ANSR All associates atMarriott Tech Accelerator will be ANSR employees delivering services exclusively to ANSR s client Marriott International Role Title Senior Engineering Manager Salesforce Position Summary At Marriott International we are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Software Engineering manager to join and lead our fast-paced and high-performing application development team The candidate requires a strong technical foundation in Salesforce including Apex LWC and integrations leadership experience in Agile environments and a passion for building high-performing teams The engineering manager will oversee multiple Salesforce engineers and work cross-functionally with product architecture QA and business teams to translate vision into reality ensuring the platform meets strategic business goals Job Responsibilities Lead and mentor Salesforce engineering teams responsible for building and maintaining Salesforce applications Own technical strategy solution architecture and roadmap alignment for Salesforce platform initiatives Guide the development of custom components APIs and third-party integrations using Apex Lightning Web Components LWC and Salesforce APIs Drive engineering excellence through best practices in code quality DevOps security scalability and maintainability Collaborate with Product Owners Architects and Stakeholders to prioritize work and deliver high-quality features on time Ensure consistent Agile delivery practices including sprint planning retrospectives and continuous improvement Monitor team performance and ensure delivery against SLAs KPIs and compliance standards Stay up to date with Salesforce product releases and leverage platform innovations Skill and Experience 9 years of Salesforce development experience with at least 4 years in an engineering management or tech lead capacity Deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform includingApex LWC Visualforce SOQL andcustom metadata configuration Proven track record of leading successful enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations and integrations Strong Agile Scrum experience with tools like Jira Confluence and Git Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications or equivalent experience Experience with DevOps tools like Copado Gearset Jenkins or Salesforce DX Prior experience managing distributed or offshore teams Strong understanding of Salesforce security models governor limits and performance optimization Education and Certifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect Work location Hyderabad India Work mode Hybrid
