We are headquartered in Pune, India and operate globally through 19 international offices (including Indonesia), 12 sales & service offices including Indonesia and Thailand and 12 manufacturing facilities 7 in India and 5 oversee Job Title : Detail Engineer SBU : WWS Qualification : B.E/B tech / Diploma Location : Pune Experience : 3 yr - 5 yr Roles And Responsibilities - To ensure on-time availability of fabricated equipment's & mechanical bought-out items & indented items for ongoing projects. - Review indents and understand the technical requirement of the item to be procured. - Issue and administrate PO's through ERP-Oracle system as per project schedule. - Tracking progress of orders and ensuring timely delivery of various procurement items in line with project delivery schedule.. - Collaborating with Engg, Projects, QAC, Logistics, Commercial & Finance departments. - Collaboration with Projects and Engineering for technical clearance etc - Ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials. - Coordination with commercial for required documentation for effecting dispatches for out to out consignments - Vendor visits for follow up for critical items - Maintaining proper documentation for each PO like received quotations, comparative statements, negotiation done etc - Adherences to Project schedules & also maintain Vendor OTP consistently. - Review / Interpretation /Understanding the technical specs in Contractual specifications of Client / Consultant. Further preparation of Clarification Sheet for Discrepancies/ ambiguity. - Pressure Drop Calculations for Pumps based on the Layout, piping routing, friction losses across equipment, fittings & Valves. - Datasheet Preparation/Review for Quotation as per Project Requirement/Contractual Specifications/Client requirements. - Techno-commercial review/ Evaluation of the filled datasheets by vendor with respect to the Tender specifications / Project Requirements. - Discussion with vendor on technical basis, vendor finalization on techno-commercial basis & Submission of Bough-out datasheet for approval / procurement. - Valve Schedule / Valve List Preparation for Projects. - Keen Focus on Design to Cost & Delivering things Right First Time. - Cross Functional Team Review with Proposals, Procurement & Site Team. - Proficiency in developing Spread sheets and Design Calculations to ease monotonous work. - Reviewing Layout & Piping 3D Model with Team. - Planning / Schedule of Work for Self in line Project Deliveries & Deadlines.
