Total Yrs of Experience 5 Years in Windows Administration Relevant Yrs of experience 5-8 Years in Windows Administration Detailed JD Roles and Responsibilities Job Title Windows Server Administrator 5 Years Experience Location Pune and Bangalore Only Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator to lead software remediation efforts focused exclusively on Windows Server environments The role involves uninstalling unsupported software deploying approved applications and ensuring system compliance The candidate must be proficient with PowerShell scripting and manual software operations Experience with SCCM is a plus Key Responsibilities - Perform software uninstallation and installation tasks across Windows Server systems 2012 R2 2016 2019 2022 - Execute remediation plans to remove unauthorized or outdated applications - Develop and use PowerShell scripts to automate software-related tasks and system configurations - Conduct system audits to identify non-compliant software and assist in cleanup planning - Maintain accurate documentation of remediation activities scripts and server configurations - Report on remediation status exceptions and progress regularly Required Skills Experience - 5 years of experience managing Windows Server OS in enterprise environments - Strong experience in software installation uninstallation and cleanup on Windows Server - Expert in PowerShell scripting for automation and system tasks - Knowledge of Windows Server features registry services and system-level configuration - Familiarity with remediation and system hardening best practices Good to Have - Experience with SCCM for server software deployments and inventory reporting - Exposure to vulnerability management tools e g Tenable Qualys - Understanding of Active Directory Group Policy and WSUS - Experience in regulated environments finance healthcare government
