Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer / Developer with strong expertise in Athena, Python, Glue, Lambda, DMS, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, and other AWS serverless resources. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable data architectures and pipelines to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain data architecture across AWS data services.
- Build and optimize data models to ensure performance and efficiency.
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines using Glue, Lambda, and DMS to load and transform data into Redshift and other AWS services.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure best practices in cloud security, governance, and performance tuning.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and data workflows using CloudFormation and other AWS tools.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Athena, Glue, Lambda, DMS, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, and AWS serverless resources.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, reporting, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and architecture design.
- Experience in building and optimizing ETL processes on AWS.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders, understand business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
