Department Quality Assurance Production Reports To Quality Control Manager Production Manager Location Insert Location Employment Type Full-Time Contract Part-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector with a strong background in furniture and metal manufacturing The QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all products meet company and industry standards from raw material inspection to in-process and final product evaluations The ideal candidate should have knowledge of both woodworking and metal fabrication processes surface finishing assembly tolerances and safety regulations Key Responsibilities Perform incoming in-process and final inspections of furniture and metal components Check products for dimension accuracy weld quality surface finishing paint powder coating consistency hardware fitting and assembly Use measuring tools and instruments such as calipers micrometers gauges tape measures squares and others Identify and document non-conformities initiate corrective actions and follow up on resolutions Review and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical specifications Ensure that all products meet internal and customer-specific quality standards Work closely with production engineering and design teams to resolve quality-related issues Maintain QC records inspection reports and documentation as per company standards Conduct random and scheduled audits on production lines and finished goods Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase efficiency Monitor adherence to safety and environmental regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Technical diploma or degree in engineering or industrial manufacturing is a plus Minimum 2-5 years of QC experience in furniture and or metal manufacturing industry Proficient in using quality inspection tools and techniques Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings BOMs and process sheets Familiarity with wood joinery welding metal forming powder coating painting and furniture assembly Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Optional Experience with CMM hardness testing weld inspection NDT methods Knowledge of lean manufacturing 5S and Six Sigma principles Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and QC documentation software Work Environment Factory Workshop environment with exposure to noise dust and machinery Standing walking bending and lifting up to 25kg may be required Use of personal protective equipment PPE is mandatory Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Application Question s Are you willing to travel till bhiwandi location Work Location In person
