User Experience Design Advisor

Job Description

- Create, edit, and publish content within the Contentful CMS, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. This involves working with various content types such as text, images, videos, and documents.
- Design and implement content models within Contentful, defining the structure and relationships of different content types. This includes setting up fields, validations, and metadata to organize and categorize content effectively.
- Upload, organize, and manage digital assets (images, videos, etc) within Contentful, ensuring proper tagging and metadata for easy retrieval and usage by content creators.
- Collaborate with content creators, editors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the content creation process. This may involve setting up workflows, assigning roles and permissions, and ensuring smooth content approval and publication processes.
- Work closely with developers and technical teams to integrate Contentful with various websites or applications. This may involve configuring webhooks, APIs, and GraphQL queries to retrieve and display content dynamically.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools integrated with Contentful. Generate reports on content engagement, conversions, and other key metrics to provide insights for content strategy and improvements
- Regularly review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business goals. This includes retiring outdated content, fixing broken links, and keeping content up to date with the latest information.
- Provide training and support to content creators and editors on using the Contentful CMS effectively. Address their queries, troubleshoot issues, and promote best practices for content management and publishing.
- Keep up-to-date with new features, updates, and best practices within Contentful. Attend webinars, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills related to content management and Contentful.

Required Experience

- Overall 11-13 yearsprofessional experience
- Experience with large-scale web projects and integration with React meta frameworks like Gatsby, NextJs, Astro, etc is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as Contentful is often used to deliver content to web applications and websites.
- Experience with responsive design to ensure content displays properly on various devices.
- In-depth understanding of Contentfuls content modeling, including creating content types, fields, and relationships.
- Familiarity with the Contentful Content Delivery API (CDA) and Content Management API (CMA) for retrieving and managing content programmatically.
- Proficiency in templating languages like Handlebars, Mustache, or similar, which are often used in combination with Contentful to render content on the frontend.
- Depending on the projects complexity, knowledge of server-side programming languages like Node.js, Ruby, or Python may be required for building custom server logic and integrations with Contentful.
- Experience integrating Contentful with other technologies and services, such as e-commerce platforms, databases, or third-party APIs, to create comprehensive solutions.
- Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback or issues.
- In addition to these technical skills, having real-world experience with Contentful projects, including case studies or a portfolio of work, can be a significant asset when seeking Contentful developer roles. Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with Contentful updates and web development trends are also essential for career growth in this field

Required Skills

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git to manage code repositories and collaborate with other developers effectively.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello to plan, track progress, and meet project deadlines.

Desired Experience

- Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) techniques for delivering content in multiple languages and regions.
- Preferred to have Contentful Certifications.
