Position Overview: The Tele Sales Executive plays a critical role in lead generation and business development within the financial services domain, specifically for personal loan products. This position involves making outbound calls to prospective customers with the objective of identifying and qualifying leads who are interested in availing personal loans. The primary goal is to inform, persuade, and engage customers to show interest in personal loan offerings from the organization or its partner banks and financial institutions. The executive is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, possess a sound understanding of loan products, and consistently meet or exceed assigned targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive sales mindset, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to potential leads provided by the company or sourced through campaigns. Identify and qualify customers who are genuinely interested in applying for personal loans. Maintain detailed records of customer conversations, feedback, and lead status in the CRM system. Customer Engagement: Communicate clearly the features, benefits, eligibility criteria, and documentation required for personal loans. Answer customer queries related to loan products, interest rates, repayment terms, and application procedures. Build rapport with customers and gain trust to encourage them to move forward with the loan application. Data Verification & Eligibility Checks: Collect and verify key personal and financial details such as income, employment status, existing liabilities, etc., to assess loan eligibility. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of customer information at all times. Follow-Up & Conversion: Conduct regular follow-ups on warm or pending leads via calls, SMS, or WhatsApp until conversion or closure. Work closely with field sales agents or loan officers (if applicable) to complete the application process. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for lead generation and conversion. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily MIS reports for calls made, leads generated, and status of conversions. Update internal systems accurately with lead status and feedback. Share insights with supervisors on customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and areas of improvement.Required Skills & Competencies: Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and confident verbal communication in Hindi and English (regional languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, or Bengali are a plus). Sales Mindset: Strong persuasive ability, resilience, and a hunger to achieve and exceed sales targets. Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial products, particularly personal loans, interest rates, tenures, and eligibility criteria. Customer Handling Skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to listen and respond appropriately to various customer scenarios. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage large call volumes, track leads, and maintain accurate data records.
