To develop & implement human resources goals & objectives aligned to the goals & objectives of the organization. Work on creating a positive & conducive work environment, implement policies that promotes productivity & efficiency of employees, have proper performance & talent management processes and overall work on building an organizational culture that foster innovation, creativity & competitive advantage.
- Manpower Planning: Working with all stakeholders to create the manpower plan for the organization considering factors like hospital beds size, occupancy, and assigned staff: patient ratio, market benchmarking, bands/grades etc. Have an approved organization chart at an organization level, department & function level which is effective & lean and aligned with the ways of working of the organization.
- Recruitment & Selection: Assigning the turn-around-time (TAT) for all positions considering the bands/grade, close review on all critical open positions, have a funnel for candidates for positions which requires most attention, define robust & effective interviews & selection process using assessment tools/evaluation forms, all related MIS's & trackers to be updated
- Training & development: Ensure an effective plan for induction, orientation, mandatory trainings (fire, safety, radiation safety, occupational hazards etc.) for all employees. Closely work with various HODs especially for Nursing & Clinical vertical to have a robust plan for functional training. Training need identification through focus group discussions, one-on-one meetings with HOD's for the training plan of their team members. Ensure basic behavioral & soft skills sessions are in place for required team members. Online platform (LMS) is used effectively for reports and data management as per compliance.
- Talent Management: Ensures effective process for performance management which includes identifying the KRA's / KPI's for all employees, have an assessment/evaluation tool or appraisal forms in place to ensure timely closure of performance evaluation cycles by following normalization and ratings mechanism. Identifying the high performer & high potentials to have a plan with the HOD on career path for them. Working with the HODs for succession planning. Designs and implements strategies & systems to develop and retain best talent.
- HR Operations: Ensure effective execution using HR Technology (HRMS & SAP) of all HR Operations processes like payroll preparation, compensation & benefits administration, transfers, increments, market corrections, incentives, market benchmarkings & surveys, separation, F&F processes etc. Ensure legal & statutory compliances with respect to people, practices & processes. Adherence to acts (applicable shops & establishment or factory act), rules & guidelines governing leaves/ timings, compensation mix considering new wage code etc. Liaisons with Statutory Bodies like PF & ESI, Inspector of Factories, Labour Department, Banks, Insurance Authorities etc. Manage background verification process. Conduct periodic planned & surprise reviews/audits covering all these aspects to check effectiveness. Staying abreast with all legal changes and timely implementation
- Develop & Implements policies and procedures related to all Human Resources matters such as manpower planning, recruitment, selection, training & development, compensation & benefits, performance appraisals, talent management, rewards, employee experience, HR technology and other HR Operations processes such as increments, market benchmarking surveys, promotions, transfer, separations etc.
- Lead the HR related initiatives for NABH & JCI accreditations, employee engagements, employee relations initiatives, industrial and labor relations. Closely interfaces with the concerned Department Managers on organizational changes and other initiatives.
- Thought leadership in providing guidance/mentoring the vertical HR Heads (directs reports) and overall HR team.
