Company Description Founded and headquartered in Switzerland Avaloq is continuously expanding its global footprint with around 2 500 colleagues in 12 countries and more than 160 clients in 35 countries We are an industry-leading provider of wealth management technology and services for financial institutions around the world including private banks and wealth managers investment managers as well as retail and neo banks Our research led approach and continual innovation is powered by the passion and creativity of our colleagues We are always looking for talented people to join us on our mission to orchestrate the financial ecosystem and democratize access to wealth management Avaloq offers the opportunity to work closely with some of the world s leading financial institutions as we jointly develop and shape careers Championing a collaborative supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential As a banking specialist you will be part of Avaloq s banking operations division BO With our services we are the back office for more than 30 banks globally and ensure their processes run smoothly compliantly and efficiently You will join the Client Onboarding Offering Team under the division responsible for user-acceptance testing As a User Acceptance Tester UAT you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the banking software ACP Your primary responsibility is to validate that the Avaloq Core Platform software upgrades meet back-office user requirements are free from defects and function as expected You work closely with business stakeholders developers and other members within Banking Operations to ensure a smooth UAT and transition into daily operations Your key tasks Participate and execute User Acceptance Tests and Non-Regression Testing for new client onboarding projects and system upgrades Ensure test cases reflect intended functionality and workflow Identify and track defects while ensuring timely resolution Interact with different stakeholders such as Back Office teams Test Release Management and IT to fix the issues experienced during the testing phase Improve the testing process efficiency where possible During the non-testing phases guarantee added contribution and support to the Back Office teams execute the service tasks assigned by the Back Office teams on time ensuring quality and adherence to internal processes procedures and SLAs agreed with clients Work with internal and external stakeholders to further improve the customer satisfaction Qualifications A deep understanding of one or more of the traditional Banking Operations services At least 2 years of Banking Operations experience either as a Banking Specialist working on the daily business or as a UAT tester Proficiency in market standard central testing tools Flexible weekend work for Release Cut Over occasional Experience in creating data models using Power BI Proficiency in SQL including query writing and database management Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for data integration and project management Strong communication skills to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Good time management able to meet tight deadlines and working well under pressure Proactivity - proposes solutions and ideas to increase process and or testing efficiency Effective collaboration and communication in a multi-cultural environment towards key stakeholders Proven proactivity problem-solving and decision-making skills Management of multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively Aptitude for learning and intellectual curiosity Excellent command of the English language Additional Information We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices In Avaloq we are proud to embrace diversity and understand the success of our business is built on the power of different opinions we are whole heartedly committed to fostering an equal opportunity environment and inclusive culture where you can be your true authentic self We hire compensate and promote regardless of origin age gender identity sexual orientation or any other fantastic traits that make us all unique we have done our best to write this advert in an inclusive and neutral way Please be aware that we will not accept speculative CV submissions for any of our roles from recruitment agencies and any unsolicited candidate submissions will be exempt from any payment expectations LI-Hybrid
