Insurity's NextQuality Analyst II As a Quality Analyst II, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Insurity applications across multiple platforms. You'll be responsible for planning, designing, and executing comprehensive test plans to validate functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and document test resultsidentifying and reporting defects such as specification gaps, regression breaks, design inconsistencies, and performance concerns. You'll also collaborate in peer review sessions to strengthen testing strategies and drive continuous improvement across the QA process. This role requires a strong commitment to developing both technical and business expertise, with a focus on the implementation of insurance processing solutions. Prior insurance industry knowledge is essential for success. What Our Quality Analyst II Will Do - Plan, design and execute test cases to validate Insurity applications across multiple platforms and frameworks with some supervision - Ensure compliance with quality standards and business requirements - Evaluate business requirements and specifications for clarity, completeness, and testability with some supervision. - Analyze, troubleshoot, and report on test execution results including non-conformance to spec, regression break, design issues and/or performance issues. - Create concise, information-rich test execution and process documentation including testing artifacts with some supervision. - Keep team, management, and project leaders informed of key concerns and issues, along with recommended solutions - Accountable for individual KPIs, including data analysis and tracking quality metrics - Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc - Other duties as assigned Who We're Looking For - Recommended 2 to 3 years of job-related experience - Recommended Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience - Insurance industry experience preferred - Analytical and critical thinking - Written and oral English communication - Time management including work planning, prioritization, and organization - Ability to handle multiple priorities or tasks - Self-starter and quick learner - Detail-oriented - Active listener - Ability to collaborate and work autonomously - Flexible and adaptable - Experience testing insurance applications an asset - Knowledge of backend testing (web services, interfaces, system integration, databases) - Knowledge of JSON and XML - Knowledge of UI automation practices, commercial or open source (e.g. Selenium, HP UFT) - Exposure to REST and/or SOAP services - Experience with Test Management software (QTEST is a plus) - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite - Microsoft SQL Thank you for your interest in Insurity Please understand that due to the volume of applicants we receive, only selected candidates will be contacted.
