Job Description

We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain VMC

machines for precision component manufacturing. The role requires hands-on

experience in CNC/VMC operations, understanding of machining processes, and

adherence to quality standards to ensure high accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.

Interpret engineering drawings, job orders, and specifications to determine

machining requirements.

Prepare, install, and adjust tools, fixtures, and workpieces.

Monitor machining operations to ensure precision, surface finish, and quality.

Perform basic programming, offsets, and tool corrections on the VMC

machine.

Inspect and measure finished parts using precision instruments (Vernier,

Micrometre, Height Gauge, CMM).

Maintain machine efficiency through routine checks, lubrication, and

preventive maintenance.

Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Report deviations, machine breakdowns, or quality issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

Experience operating VMC machines.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Basic knowledge of tooling and machining processes.

Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000- 30,000 per month
